What a beautiful May day at Dedham Vineyards for Gerard & Angela’s wedding! We started off at The Sun Inn where both Gerard and Angela got ready (separately of course!) before making our way to Dedham Vineyards, not far up the road. It was a lovely chilled morning, I couldn’t believe how laid-back everyone was!

Dedham Vineyards is a new venue for weddings, small and intimate but absolutely stunning grounds. Unfortunately the vines didn’t survive the wintry frost, but the vineyards still looked stunning in their perfect rows.

Gerard & Angela had an adorable humanist ceremony, I love how it was so personalised to the two of them – something you can’t get with the average church or civil ceremony. The room was so beautifully decorated as well, so lovely and colourful, the fairy lights were a nice touch too! Gerard and his family are Irish, and so it was lovely that they had a traditional Celtic hand-fasting ceremony.

I love the beautiful little lake that Dedham Vineyards has – we were able to take the confetti, group and natural shots just in front, which was an exquisite backdrop. Later on, Gerard, Angela and I went for a walk to get some photographs around the grounds, it was so nice to be photographing a new venue and to let my creativity flow!

Thank you Gerard & Angela, it was wonderful to spend your special day with you and it was an honour to document it for you! Zoe x
