Aarron and Abigail’s April wedding at Preston Priory Barn was a pleasure to photograph. It was our first time at Preston Priory Barn and we were very impressed! A gorgeous venue with lots of stunning grounds around it, as well as being in a brilliant location (just a few minutes away from Lavenham). The weather was absolutely stunning for April, in fact we were really lucky this year to have such fabulous weather all throughout April – by far better than August/September!
One thing that I remember quite well about this wedding was how lovely all the guests were. Half were from Preston area (no, not a coincidence – Aarron is from Preston, and the name of the venue was one of the reasons that Aarron and Abigail chose Preston Priory Barn as their wedding venue!) and you could totally tell that everyone was so happy and honoured to be celebrating Aarron and Abigail’s special day with them. Aarron & Abigail have the cutest family of nieces and nephews who livened up the day with their cuteness and energy!
I absolutely loved the details that Aarron and Abigail chose for the wedding breakfast – they had a lovely timeline of their relationship, and the tables were named after years within said timeline. Definitely a lovely touch for a couple who have been together a long time.
The DJ was absolutely brilliant in the evening, he knew exactly what to play and the balloon animals/objects were a HUGE hit with the kiddies!! How cool are the dance floor rules and the LOVE sign?!
